Baking Recipe: Key Lime Pie (Non-Baked)

If you really want a quick dessert, and you love anything that's tangy and related to citrus? This is your answer. Let me tell you, that I'm really quite a "lazy" person and I dread washing up at times. Therefore, I will try to think of desserts with the least washing up, and still taste delish.

(Something I left out: **Make sure to chill for 3-4 hours before serving. )

This post is a sequel to my Cooking Recipe: Juicy Lamb Burger post, and will now showcase my dessert. Remember I said it was a 3-course meal? Well I meant it. As for the tuna salad, that's really simple, because there was no recipe to it. Tuna Salad will be free-style. What I am more excited to share with you will be my Key Lime Pie (Non-Baked).

Possibly, Fall is starting in the States, Spring in Australia, and while weather remains hot and humid in Malaysia; I think the Key Lime Pie can be made anytime of year. Hopefully you do try it and share all the love with family and friends. Or if you are having an aching heart, this could be comforting too :).

  4. This pie is so pretty! I didn't used to be a fan of key lime pie because I always thought it was too sweet until my brother made one, now I love them!

  9. Kim Bee: Thanks for the support! ;)

Ann: I hope I didn't leave out anything in my recipe list. This is where I get lazy, I will create my recipe and not write it down. Lesson learnt =). However, the recipe I created is not very sweet. Just right of sweetness to balance out the tangy lime.

Lizzy: Hahahaha.. I wonder what will I make next. It's nice to know you would like to eat this once a month too. Come to think of it, I would too ;P.

Stephanie: Hopefully you will try this out someday. I usually don't take my desserts very sweet too, and this key lime pie has a balance of sweet and sour.

Claire: Thanks ;). However, I might fail in your books. My food can be sinful. However they are not on daily basis. I like the idea of your blog too. Will definitely prepare myself some meals -minus the calories. Heheh.. Thanks for stopping by too.

Lilly: Thanks dear.. your compliments means a lot. I'm quite lazy myself too, mostly the washing up. hehehe.. Really need adishwasher ;).

    Have a great week everyone!

    Hugs, Jo

  10. Lorraine & Nic: Thanks for stopping by! I think it's do-able here in KL, Malaysia. We have summer all year round. And today is a nice bright sunny day. Yup, today's first day of Spring in OZ too eh? Everytime I get to talk about OZ, my heart beats slightly faster. I'm just missing all the cool breeze, sunny clear blue sky in Sydney, over looking the harbour at Circular Quay or back in Melbourne, going to Hawthorn for a meal. Hahaha... Happy 1st day of Spring ladies!! Can't believe time flies as I was just back in Melbourne this year in April, Fall season. Time is really flying.. Have a great week!! Cheers, Jo

  11. Beautiful no-bake key lime pie. The lemon curd and the cream cheese is the answer for the filling. How genius! Love it, and especially your amazing photos of it! Jo, you never cease to amaze me with your desserts:DDD

  12. I am a complete fool for key lime pie! When I was pregnant with my daughter all I ever craved (or could keep down!) was key lime and lemon meringue pie. I really, really need to make this. I wonder if it could be adapted to single serving tarts and frozen easily since, unbelievable as it is, I am the only one who likes the citrus in the family. And if I make a pie, I'll eat the pie!

  15. Hey Sheri! Wow.. isn't great to have such tangy craves? I crave anything to do with berries and citrus anytime of year. I can't imagine myself without them. Yes you definitely can make them in to single serving tarts. Just use muffin pans or if you have single serving tart shell pans. That will work ;). Enjoy!! xoxo
